The story of BlueEyes Kitchen and the software we built to power it.
It was Christmas, and I was on my way out of town with a Turtle Cheesecake in hand—a promise I'd made to a friend who had been patiently waiting. I'd packed it carefully in a little box and carried it with me into a local pub, ready to finally deliver on my word. Before I could even set it down, a patron stopped me. "Where did you buy that?" he asked. When I told him I'd made it myself, his eyes lit up. He immediately wanted to buy it. I laughed and said, "Sorry, this one's spoken for." But then another guest chimed in, insisting he had to have one too. He pressed money into my hand and said, "When you get back, make me one." And just like that, something bigger than a simple cheesecake was born. What started as a favor for a friend became a passion, a business, and a mission to bring handcrafted, artisan quality to every celebration.

I've spent over 25 years in the hospitality industry, learning the art of creating memorable experiences through food. But it wasn't until that fateful day in the pub that I realized my true calling: crafting artisan baked goods that bring joy to people's lives. Every cheesecake, every cookie, every custom cake that leaves my kitchen is made with the same care and attention I put into that very first Turtle Cheesecake. I believe in using only the finest ingredients, in taking the time to get every detail right, and in creating food that doesn't just taste good—it creates memories.

Embracing AI: The Game-Changer for My Business
Building BlueEyes Kitchen and CreationHub has been a journey of constant innovation. When I discovered the potential of AI it opened up possibilities I'd never imagined.
In early 2025, I saw a Facebook ad for a free 3-day seminar from AI for Business. I was skeptical, but I decided to give it a try. That decision changed everything.
Through AI for Business, I discovered Manus AI and joined during the Beta stage. Here's the truth: I've never coded. I'm a self-taught Excel and computer user with 25 years of hospitality experience. But I had a vision, and AI for Business, Base44 and Manus AI helped me bridge the gap between vision and reality.
Through the Manus AI community, I discovered Base44. Building CreationHub became a learning partnership: Manus AI explained technical concepts I didn't understand, translated terminology, reviewed my work, identified gaps, collaborated to create features, and guided me through complex integrations like PayPal and APIs.
Manus AI didn't just help me build—it taught me how and why things worked. With my hospitality experience and AI tools as my guide, I built a 250+ feature platform without writing a single line of code myself.
I used the same approach to build this website. The right education (AI for Business), the right partner (Manus AI), the right platform (Wix), and 25 years of real-world experience have allowed me to achieve something remarkable: building professional software without a technical background.
